About Taylor

I'm someone wandering on an adventure in life. Sometimes the adventure really sucks, and other times the adventure is fun. Either way I'm always learning something new, and I think that's the way it should be.

I am the author of Pop Culture Magick, Space/Time Magic, Inner Alchemy, and Multimedia Magic (2008) and a co-author of Creating Magickal Entities and Kink Magic: Sex Magic Beyond Vanilla (November 2007).

I'm the editor of the Magick on the Edge experimental magic anthology and also the non-fiction head editor of Immanion Press/Megalithica Books.

When I'm not writing and researching, I can be found playing video games, reading SF and fantasy books, watching anime, practicing experimental magic, and living life.

I live in Portland with Sun Ce, the holy Kirin cat, and Lupa my lovely wife and guide to the heart of the universe.

Some of my hobbies are Chinese literature, games of strategy, SF/Fantasy books, and detective fiction. If you'd like to learn more about me, visit my Livejournal account.

About Lupa

I'm Lupa, in case you haven't figured that out. I am the author of Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone: A Primal Guide to Animal Magic and A Field Guide to Otherkin. I'm also co-authoring Kink Magic: Sex Magic Beyond Vanilla with. And I am a contributor to the Magick on the Edge anthology.

Additionally, I am an associate editor, layout tech, and nonfiction publicity/promotions manager for Immanion Press/Megalithica Books.

I use the term pagan for simplicity's sake, though more accurately I'm a totemist, an animist and a pantheist. I have been studying pagan religions and magical topics for nine years and practicing for seven years. My matron Goddess is Artemis, though I have worked in many paradigms--I have made Goetic pacts, left offerings for Loa, and prayed to Ganesha, remover of obstacles. I am also a practicing experimental magician and have used what I've learned from that experience to expand myself on many levels. My primary paradigm, however, remains Nature-based. You can see how that ties into my artwork here.

I am happily married to Taylor, someone who shares an amazing amount of magic and joy with me. He's also a published occult author as well as an artist and overall creative personality.
